Who We Are
We are a Black, female-led liquor brand unapologetically celebrating the accomplishments of bitter, mouthy women everywhere.
About Our Cachaça
Our Cachaça is manufactured in Brazil near the Atlantic Rainforest using sugar cane grown in the São Fidelis mountains. After about one year of growth, the sugar cane is harvested, carefully separated and pressed. Then, the sugarcane juice produced is twice distilled in copper stills, rested for 9 months, and packaged in glass bottles. The resulting flavor boasts subtle notes of sugar cane, nectarine, and melon with a light, but persistent finish.
How We Help Women
Bitter Feminist is actively committed to causes and organizations that inspire, empower, and make a difference in the lives of women around the world. Currently, we support three incredible organizations, with the aim to continue to do more.
Black Girls Film camp is a 12-week incubator that enables high school Black girls across the country to pitch, direct, and develop their own short films while being mentored by award-winning filmmakers.
Tri-Latino’s mission is to increase the participation of Latinos in triathlon and endurance sports, while promoting healthy lifestyles and uplifting Latino communities.
Malala Fund advocates at local, national, and international levels, for resource and policy changes needed to give all girls a secondary education.
Our Environmental Footprint
Bitter Feminist recognizes the importance of ensuring our products are produced, delivered, and disposed of in environmentally responsible ways. While we have more to do, we are proud to be taking steps to help ensure we are reducing our environmental impact.
